Sara Ulfsparre (b.1975) is a visual artist, working in a variety of materials and mediums including watercolour, ink, stitch, needle felting, and soft sculpture, to explore her experience of living with chronic pain and fatigue. The relationship with the body is key to the practice as a means to explore autobiography and in relation to pain. Words and fragmented writing are also part of the practice, and often incorporated into the artworks.
